The members of the Craft Group at St Marys have been long time supporters of the orphanage at Maubara, Timor Leste. They generate funds through the sale of their lovely craft products and through coin collections made at each meeting. Recently, $800 was raised at the big morning tea and craft sale held in the Parish Hall. This truly amazing result was donated towards the care and education of the children from Maubara orphanage. Sincere thanks to Pat Fitzpatrick and Judy Ward for organising the event and to all supporters who contributed to its success. Their generous efforts continue in memory of Annette Walsh RIP, original convenor and untiring leader whose open-hearted giving touched the lives of so many.
